A summer outing ended in tragedy for the Noble, Oklahoma, community when the body of 32-year-old Kevin Price was recovered from Lake Thunderbird on June 8, 2018. A woman walking along the southeast shore found Price at the water’s edge in Clear Bay #2. He was not wearing a flotation device and investigators were unsure how long he had been in the water before his discovery.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation later determined the death was a homicide after finding that Price had sustained a gunshot wound. No arrests have been announced and no suspects have been publicly identified; the case remains open with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. If anyone was at Lake Thunderbird or the Clear Bay area on or before June 8, 2018, or has information about Kevin Price’s death, please come forward.
