Mikail Parker, 27, was found shot to death in his Chevrolet Trailblazer in the early morning hours of December 3, 2016, at the intersection of Kern and Kiowa Streets in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. A window on the vehicle was shattered and both the keys and Parker’s cell phone were missing, indicating a violent encounter and possible robbery.

Investigators from the Okmulgee Police Department and Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office developed leads through witness interviews and identified two suspects. One person later implicated the other during an interview with law enforcement. Jurisdictional questions arose because the crime occurred within the boundaries of the Muscogee Nation while Parker was a registered citizen of the Cherokee Nation, and those jurisdictional issues became a notable part of the case.

Does anyone have information about Parker, his routine in Okmulgee, or witnessed activity around Kern and Kiowa Streets that morning?
