On the evening of August 27, 2016, gunfire erupted at a rodeo in Spencer, Oklahoma, leaving two teenagers dead. Seventeen-year-old Brandon Beiner was one of the victims; the other was 14-year-old Mark Carter. Reports say a fight broke out among a group at the event and at least two people then drew firearms and opened fire.
