Chad Steven Green, 55, worked and lived at the Broadway Inn Express in Biloxi and was shot and killed there on April 27, 2022. His death occurred during a series of shootings at the beachfront motel in which the owner, Mohammad Mo Moeini, 51, and property manager Laura Lehman, 61, were also killed. The attacker, identified in reports as 32-year-old Jeremy Alesunder Reynolds, left the scene and later carjacked and killed a fourth person in Gulfport, 52-year-old William Waltman, a contract employee for the city.
Reynolds later barricaded himself inside a convenience store, set a fire, and was found dead from smoke inhalation. Green’s family remembered him as a devoted worker, father of two, an avid golfer, and someone who enjoyed caring for plants. Few details about a motive have been provided; anyone who knew Chad or has information about the events at the Broadway Inn Express is asked to come forward.
