Lee Earl Kincaid, 65, was shot and killed in Carthage, Mississippi, on September 6, 2021 after a domestic dispute with a woman he lived with. Three young children were in the home at the time of the shooting. Leake County investigators confirmed the death resulted from the altercation but did not release the woman’s name.

No arrests were announced immediately and the investigation remained open as officers continued to gather evidence and conduct interviews. No public statements about charges or a suspect identification have been made.
