Jahtarreon Fulgham, 22, was killed in a drive-by shooting in Meridian, Mississippi, in the early morning hours of December 27, 2020. Fulgham had been driving and stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of Highway 45 and Highway 39 after leaving a nightclub and stopping at a convenience store. A dark-colored, four-door car, possibly an Impala with tinted windows, pulled up alongside and occupants opened fire. Fulgham was struck in the head; a passenger in his car ducked, then attempted to drive him to a hospital but wrecked the vehicle. Fulgham was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
The Meridian Police Department worked the case with multiple agencies. Investigators later identified three suspects. In July 2022, 30-year-old SanMarco V. Houston was arrested in Manitowoc, Wisconsin; two other men, 19-year-old Kedarius Stribling and 20-year-old Kendarius Ruffin, were taken into custody in Meridian two days earlier. All three were charged with murder and drive-by shooting; Houston was held without bond pending extradition and Stribling and Ruffin had bonds set at $1 million each.
Did anyone in Meridian remember seeing a dark-colored Impala or recognize the occupants near Highway 45 and Highway 39 that night?
