In the early morning hours of November 28, 2020, a vehicle on Westward Drive near Milner Stadium and Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, Mississippi, was found to contain two men who had been shot to death. Gulfport Police responded about 5:12 a.m. and the Harrison County Deputy Coroner pronounced 22-year-old Rashaud Fairley and 34-year-old Charles Earl Johnson dead at the scene. Both men were residents of Gulfport.

What was first reported as a car accident was quickly reclassified as a double homicide. The investigation remains open and cold; no suspects or arrests have been publicly identified. If anyone has information about Fairley, Johnson, their movements that night, or the vehicle’s location near the stadium and hospital, please come forward.
