A'Treio Markis Richards was 19 when he was fatally shot on the evening of Friday, November 6, 2020, on Elizabeth Circle in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The shooting was recorded as the city’s 10th homicide that year. Richards was found by police around 8:50 p.m. with gunshot wounds and later died of his injuries. A celebration of his life was held later that month at the Vicksburg City Auditorium.

Investigators linked the deadly encounter to an earlier altercation on October 6, 2020, at LD’s Kitchen. On November 9, 2020, 32-year-old Cornell Antonio Miles of Vicksburg was arrested and charged with homicide and a weapons offense. At an initial court appearance before Judge Angela Carpenter his bond was set at $2,000,000 on the homicide charge and $30,000 on the weapons charge; he was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

Does anyone who knew A'Treio or who was in Vicksburg that fall have information about the October fight or the events on Elizabeth Circle?
