Jose Luis Estrada was 16 when he was last seen at his foster home in Porterville, California, on December 27, 2006. He disappeared the same day as his younger brother, Jaime Estrada, then 12. Investigators gathered evidence suggesting both boys may have been taken to Durango, Mexico, by their biological father, Jose Soto Estrada, and that they might have fled as runaways.

Jose was described as a Hispanic male about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with brown hair. The case remains open and authorities continue to seek information that could locate the brothers or clarify what happened to them on and after December 27, 2006.

If anyone knew Jose, Jaime, their movements around late December 2006, or has information about Jose Soto Estrada and travel to Durango, please come forward.
