Tamorris Kewon Douglas was 21 when he was shot and killed inside a residence on Reynolds Street in Pearl, Mississippi. Police responded to a 911 call on the afternoon of January 3, 2018; Douglas was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics attempted life-saving measures.

Investigators focused on a person who was at the home when officers arrived. Thirty-two-year-old Nikki Nichelle Patchin was taken into custody at the scene and was later charged with murder in connection with Douglas’s death.
