A late-night shooting at the Sin City nightclub on Church Road in Pike County, Mississippi, left 45-year-old Prentiss Jackson of Magnolia dead and four other people wounded in the early morning of January 15, 2017. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. on a Sunday and involved a violent altercation that escalated to gunfire; Jackson died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators identified two suspects. Derric Hall, also from Magnolia, was arrested and charged with one count of murder and four counts of attempted murder; he reportedly admitted to firing a weapon during the confrontation and said he had been assaulted, retrieved a gun from his vehicle, and fired while being pursued. A second suspect, Laxavier Addison, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Both men were held at the Pike County Jail on bond set at $700,000 each.
Are there witnesses or anyone with video from that night who can shed more light on what happened inside the club?
