On March 14, 2016, 27-year-old Marketa Williams was found with a gunshot wound to the chest on a sidewalk on Crestview Drive in Tupelo, Mississippi, after a domestic disturbance. Williams was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center and later died from the injury.
Authorities arrested 30-year-old Candance Ezell in connection with the shooting and charged her with murder. Ezell was held at the Lee County Jail; at her initial court appearance bond was set at $200,000. Her attorney said she was a veteran who served a tour of duty in Iraq and was a student at the University of Mississippi. The matter was scheduled to go before a grand jury in April 2016.
Are there details about the disturbance or witnesses who were at Crestview Drive that night anyone can share?
