On the evening of November 28, 2015, officers responded to reports of a shooting at a home on Church Street in Como, Mississippi. Inside they found two women dead from gunshot wounds: 68-year-old Emma Jackson and her 22-year-old granddaughter, Cerea Jackson. The shooting happened in the presence of Cerea’s two young children, an infant and a four-year-old; the four-year-old escaped and ran to neighbors, who then called police.
Investigators identified Quendarius Brejuan Robinson, who had been in a relationship with Cerea Jackson, as the suspect. Police said the violence began as a domestic dispute that escalated and left both women dead. Robinson fled but was found and arrested on November 30, 2015, at a residence in Batesville, Mississippi; he had a prior guilty plea for an aggravated assault shooting in 2014 and was on probation at the time. He was charged with two counts of murder.
Given the presence of young children during the killings and the loss of Emma Jackson, what details might local witnesses or family remember that could shed light on the events that night?
