Nova Joyce Davis Crum was 41 when she died of gunshot wounds on March 21, 2014, in Corinth, Mississippi. Born October 3, 1972, in Tupelo, she worked as a certified dietary district manager for Health Care Service Group and was active in New Life Mission. She was married to Shelby Wayne Crum and was the mother of Chelsea Lashea Crum Russell and Shelby Caleb Crum.

The killing remains unresolved.
