Lavelle Bergerac Ivy, 30, was found on the evening of October 3, 2020, inside a Hyundai Santa Fe on East Hemphill Road in Burton, Michigan, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Hurley Medical Center, where he died of his injuries. His death was linked to a separate but related fatal shooting of Ammelio G. Wilson Jr., and investigators treated both killings as part of a targeted attack.

Authorities charged four men in connection with the double homicide, including a local Flint rapper; the suspects faced multiple felony counts, including murder.
