Shaheed Little, a 31-year-old Black man from Sicklerville, was killed on February 8, 2021, in Bridgeton, New Jersey. Little had driven with an acquaintance, Tyzir S. Hall, to a home on the 400 block of South Avenue to record music in a basement studio. Hall reportedly opened fire, fatally wounding Little; Little was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
Two other people in the house survived: a man shot in the face and a woman shot in the leg. Hall fled in Little’s vehicle and was later identified as the suspect. The U.S. Marshals Service joined the search, and Hall was located and arrested in Philadelphia in October 2021; multiple firearms and hollow-point ammunition were found on him. A grand jury indicted Hall in March 2022 on charges including first-degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, and weapons offenses. The motive for the shooting has not been publicly disclosed.
If anyone knew Shaheed Little, was at that recording session, or has information about what led to this shooting, please share what is known.
