Terrance L. Martin Sr. was 37 when he was shot and killed on the evening of Tuesday, June 5, 2018. He had been attending a small backyard gathering on Walnut Street in Bridgeton, New Jersey, when an unidentified person entered from an alley shortly after 9 p.m. and opened fire. Martin, described as a union construction worker who enjoyed dirt biking, working on cars, and cooking seafood, was fatally wounded; another guest, 37-year-old Kirk Williams, was injured and taken to a Pennsylvania medical center.
Investigators from the Bridgeton Police Department and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office treated the attack as targeted rather than random and appealed to the public for help. No arrests have been announced and the homicide remains an open investigation.
If anyone attended that gathering or has information about who entered from the alley that night, please share what you know.
