On the afternoon of Friday, September 29, 2017, 37-year-old Frantz Paraison was shot inside a gray 2004 Acura MDX on the 500 block of Sayre Street in Neptune, New Jersey. Paraison was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center but died of his injuries; his passenger, 37-year-old Shaezeel Collins of Toms River, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and Neptune Township Police immediately opened an intensive investigation. Detectives from both agencies worked the case and Monmouth County Crime Stoppers offered a reward for information leading to an arrest. In the years since the shootings there have been no public announcements of arrests or identified suspects, and the double homicide appears to have gone cold.

If anyone was in the Sayre Street area that afternoon or has information about the Acura MDX, the shootings, or the people involved, please come forward.
