Shaezeel Collins, 37, was fatally shot on September 29, 2017, on the 500 block of Sayre Street in Neptune, New Jersey. Police found Collins and another 37-year-old man, Frantz Paraison, inside a vehicle after a 911 call; both had suffered gunshot wounds. Collins, a Toms River resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. Paraison was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center and later died of his injuries.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and Neptune Township Police initially described the investigation as early and actively ongoing and asked the public for information; Monmouth County Crime Stoppers offered up to a $5,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest. No suspects or arrests have been publicly reported in connection with these shootings in the years since, and the deaths remain unresolved.

If anyone knew Collins, Paraison, or was in the area that afternoon and has information, please share what might help the investigation.
