Shortly after 1:19 a.m. on September 16, 2017, gunfire outside the MVP Sports Bar on Wheat Road in Buena Borough, New Jersey, left two people dead. Damon A. Jones, 34, of Bridgeton, and 23-year-old Talisa Colon of Vineland were found inside a vehicle in the bar’s parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. Autopsies confirmed both died of their gunshot injuries.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit led the investigation with help from local and state partners. No arrests have been announced. Detectives identified a newer-model dark-colored Chrysler or Dodge minivan captured on surveillance video as a vehicle of interest and have appealed for witnesses. A cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.

If anyone saw activity in the MVP Sports Bar parking lot that night or recognizes the minivan or its occupants, please come forward with what was seen.
