Devon Young, 26, of Willingboro, New Jersey, was fatally shot in a parking lot behind the Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant in Maple Shade on the morning of June 21, 2017. Police found him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds about 8:25 a.m.; emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. Investigators treated the attack as targeted rather than random.

The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and Maple Shade Police opened a multiunit investigation that included Major Crimes, High-Tech Crimes, and Crime Scene teams. Authorities said they had tentatively identified a possible suspect early on but were still working to locate that person. The area behind the brewery was secured as a crime scene and nearby businesses were temporarily disrupted. Young worked at Albo Appliance adjacent to the shooting site.

No arrests or publicly announced charges have been reported. What can readers who knew Devon or who were in the area that morning add to the picture?
