Allens Exilus was 20 when he was shot and killed on the evening of Tuesday, October 14, 2014, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The shooting occurred near Cherry and West Jersey streets; emergency crews took him to a nearby hospital but he died shortly after arrival.
