Terrance Thomas was 30 when he was fatally shot in Chicago on August 4, 2008. The shooting occurred in the early morning in a residential neighborhood; authorities responded quickly but little information was developed about suspects or motive.
His death was one of more than 500 homicides in Chicago that year, a period marked by rising violent crime and persistent community concerns about gang activity and trust in police. Terrance’s family sought justice amid a large number of unsolved cases and high-profile violent incidents across the city.
If anyone knew Terrance, saw activity in that neighborhood that morning, or has information that could help, please come forward.
