Derrell Alexander was 27 when he and his girlfriend, Tiffany Watkins, were shot to death outside their Columbus Avenue home in Neptune on the evening of September 10, 2007. The couple’s children were inside the residence during the attack.

Police responded that night and investigated the double homicide, but the case later went cold. No arrests have been announced and no suspects have been publicly identified. The killings devastated family and neighbors and remain an open case in the community.
