Victor Thomas Demoski, also known as Victor Stepanoff, was 29 when he was last seen on July 22, 1990, in Dillingham, Alaska. An American Indian / Alaska Native male, he stood about 5 feet 10 inches, weighed around 160 pounds, and had brown hair and brown eyes. At the time he went missing he was reportedly wearing grey pants and a bright blue satin jacket with a Nelbro logo on the back.
The disappearance is tied to a boating incident: Demoski fell overboard from the fishing vessel Lori Dee. Searches were conducted for several days, but no trace of him was located. The Alaska State Troopers are handling the investigation under case number 900048949; the case is logged in NamUs as MP67215 and is managed by the Missing Persons Clearinghouse in Anchorage.
If anyone was on the Lori Dee that day, worked in Dillingham in July 1990, or has information about the incident or Demoski’s last movements, please come forward.
