Tyler Shane Johnson, 28, was shot and killed on November 11, 2022, outside Iron and Ale Lynchburg Tap and Table, a restaurant in Lynchburg, Virginia. A memorial was placed outside the restaurant after the shooting; the business described Johnson as one of their children. The Lynchburg Police Department identified a suspect and arrested Derek Lewis in Jacksonville, Florida, the day after the fatal shooting.

Lewis was extradited to Virginia to face charges in connection with Johnson’s death. More than two years later, in March 2025, a jury found 31-year-old Derrick Lewis guilty of second-degree murder. Lewis is scheduled to be sentenced in May 2025.

Does anyone have information about Johnson’s last evening or about the scene outside Iron and Ale on November 11, 2022?
