John Atherton Dieterich, 31, was last seen on March 22, 1990, in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. He was a crewman aboard the 162-foot fishing trawler Aleutian Enterprise when the vessel capsized and sank in the Bering Sea. Dieterich was described as having brown hair and blue eyes.

The sinking resulted in the disappearance of the entire crew; eight other crew members named in the report are Joseph Alaimo, Robert Davis Jr., Jeffrey Houston, David Jefferies, Nelo Marciel, Robert McCord, Matthew Schneider, and Javier Valenzuela. The Alaska State Troopers are listed as the primary investigating agency and Dieterich remains registered as a missing person with the case open.

Does anyone have information about the Aleutian Enterprise or its crew in March 1990 that could shed light on what happened?
