Nathaniel Nate Dion Jones, 37, was shot and killed in Winchester in the early hours of May 6, 2022. Officers responded to the 1800 block of Henry Avenue after reports of a fight and later additional 911 calls reporting a shooting; Jones was found at the scene and pronounced dead.

Investigators determined the confrontation was an isolated altercation between Jones and an acquaintance, Jessie Nathaniel Simms, 32, who also lived on the 1800 block of Henry Avenue. A search warrant at Simms’ residence yielded a handgun. Simms was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and held without bond at the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center.

Are there details about that block of Henry Avenue or the parties involved that anyone can share to help clarify what happened that night?
