On the afternoon of December 17, 2021, 44-year-old Pamela Schwartz, a Caucasian woman, was found dead behind a garage on Bethel Road in Chesapeake, Virginia. Chesapeake Police responded to a call, identified Schwartz at the scene, and launched an investigation. An examination determined she had been shot multiple times and her death was a homicide.

Investigators found a connection to a violent crime that had occurred the previous day in Virginia Beach. Two brothers, Darrius and Michael White, were identified as persons of interest; surveillance footage showed the brothers following Schwartz before she was shot. Law enforcement says the firearm used to kill Schwartz was the same weapon stolen from the victim in the Virginia Beach killing.

Darrius White and Michael White were prosecuted in the Virginia Beach case, with Darrius convicted of aggravated murder and sentenced to life without parole and Michael given a 50-year sentence. The Chesapeake Police Department continues to investigate Pamela Schwartz’s death, and no formal charges in Chesapeake had been announced as of the latest update. Did anyone in Chesapeake see Pamela or the vehicle that followed her on December 16 or 17, 2021?
