Kevin Michael Riley, 29, was shot and killed on the evening of October 28, 2020, while a passenger in a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt parked in the 500 block of Adams Drive in Winchester, Virginia. A single, fatal gunshot to his chest was fired from a dark-colored, possibly blue, BMW SUV that fled the scene. Emergency crews transported Riley to Winchester Medical Center, where he later died.
Winchester Police Department treated the death as a homicide, processed the scene, interviewed witnesses, and identified a person of interest. On November 5, 2020, police announced they had obtained a murder warrant for 29-year-old Quadell Alik Grimes of Hagerstown, Maryland, and said he was believed to be driving a blue BMW SUV with Maryland plates and was armed and dangerous. There are no subsequent public reports about an arrest, trial, or conviction in the case.
Does anyone have information about Kevin Riley, the blue BMW seen that night, or the whereabouts of Quadell Alik Grimes?
