On the evening of May 4, 2020, a shooting at a condominium complex on Meadowland Court in Chantilly, Virginia, left 41-year-old Shawn Johnson fatally wounded. Fairfax County police found him inside the residence with a gunshot wound to his upper body; he was taken to a hospital and died of his injuries. The man who had been his roommate, 56-year-old Linh Ngoc Ngo, was taken into custody at the scene and later charged with second-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Johnson was born in New York City and had a strong interest in sports, art, and music. He pursued work as a hip-hop artist, enjoyed reggae, and shared original artwork and sports commentary on a sports-focused Facebook page. He is survived by family members who mourn his sudden, violent death.

Does anyone have information about Shawn’s life in the Chantilly area or details about the night of May 4, 2020, that could help clarify what happened?
