Princeton Howard Bragg, 37, and Lolita Monique Boggs, 38, were reported missing from their home on Coal Kiln Road in Painter, Virginia, on March 25, 2020, after family members could not reach them. Their white BMW was located that same day on secluded Doughty Farm Road. Deputies found both victims had been shot multiple times; Bragg’s body was in the trunk and Boggs was in the backseat. The case was handled as a homicide by the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from Virginia State Police, the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Eastern Shore Drug Task Force.

Investigation evidence described at trial linked 44-year-old Julian Travis Scarborough to the killings. Prosecutors said a drug transaction gone bad motivated the crime, cell phone data placed Scarborough near the victims, his DNA was found inside Bragg’s turned-out pants pockets, and video showed him forcing entry at the victims’ home after they disappeared. In August 2024 a jury convicted Scarborough of two counts of first-degree murder, robbery and related firearms offenses. Sentencing was scheduled for November 21. Does anyone have information about Bragg or Boggs’s whereabouts or activities in the days before March 25, 2020?
