Jerry Wayne Reid Jr was 40 when he was shot at a Winchester, Virginia, residence on the evening of December 23, 2018. He suffered gunshot wounds to his upper body, was taken to a local hospital, and was pronounced dead. His death was reported as the city’s first homicide in three years.

Investigators opened a homicide probe and announced they were pursuing murder charges in connection with Reid’s death, but at that time had not identified suspects or a motive. As of late 2018, no arrests had been made and the family was left awaiting answers.

If anyone in Winchester that night saw anything or has information about who might be responsible, please come forward.
