Aidan Scott Dawson was 17 and a senior at George Wythe High School when he was found shot to death near an outbuilding on a Draper, Virginia, property after being reported missing in December 2017. Aidan, described as a fan of football and motocross and noted for his artistic talent and welcoming smile, was discovered with 24-year-old Raymond Rodriguez; both deaths were ruled a double homicide.

Investigators say the victims and the alleged perpetrators were acquainted and that a possible motive involved drugs. Following a tip, three teenage suspects were arrested: Dylan Alexander McGlothlin, then 18, charged with two counts of murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony; Jared Stephens, then 19, and Hunter Armbrister, then 18, charged as accessories after the fact, with Armbrister also charged with attempted disposal of a body.
