Asia Serria Munden-Ferrell was 18 when she was killed in Hampton, Virginia, in the early morning hours of July 23, 2017. She was outside an apartment complex in the 100 block of Lassiter Drive when a dark-colored sedan drove by and occupants fired into the complex. Munden-Ferrell was struck by a single bullet and was pronounced dead at the scene by responders from the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue.

Investigators found that the same volley of gunfire also hit a building and several cars; no other injuries were reported. Anyone who was in the area that night or has information about the vehicle or its occupants is asked to contact investigators with any leads that could help bring justice for Asia.
