Tion Kwantae Burton was 17 when he was killed on the night of May 28, 2017. He had been attending a graduation party in Axton, Virginia, celebrating a recent graduation from George Washington High School in Danville when gunfire broke out. Tion was fatally wounded; two other people were also injured in the shooting.

Described by friends and family as a kind, respectful young man who loved basketball and had been a standout on his high school team, Tion’s death deeply affected the local community. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office opened a homicide investigation, and a reward has been offered for information, but no public announcement of arrests or identified suspects has been released.

Are there any readers who attended that party or who have information that could help bring answers in Tion’s case?
