A custody dispute in a Manassas Food Lion parking lot on November 29, 2016, ended in fatal violence. Cordrey Douglas Jackson, 24, became involved in an argument with Roberta Edlina Brandon, then 23, and another man. The dispute escalated when a firearm was produced and Jackson was shot in the upper body.
Despite the injury, Jackson stumbled into the store and collapsed in the produce section. He was taken to a local hospital but later died of his wound. Prince William County Police identified Roberta Edlina Brandon as the primary suspect, obtained a murder warrant, and arrested her the next day in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Reports say all three people in the initial confrontation were known to one another.
Are there witnesses who remember the altercation or Jackson’s movements that evening?
