Javiel Rosado Santiago, a 21-year-old Hispanic man, was killed on March 18, 2016, in Manassas, Virginia, during a planned drug deal that turned into a robbery. The meeting was set in the 7900 block of Blue Gray Circle; when Santiago arrived he was approached by three people, two men and a juvenile. The juvenile attempted to rob Santiago, and a gunfight followed. Santiago was shot and died at the scene; the 16-year-old was shot in the hand and taken to a hospital.

Police arrested 19-year-old Carlos Fernando Lazo-Rivera and the 16-year-old the day after the shooting, charging both with murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and attempted robbery. A third suspect, identified as 20-year-old Alexander Esau Flores-Aguilar, was sought by authorities and was later located in Hempstead, New York, and taken into custody pending extradition to Virginia to face the same charges. Santiago was survived by his wife, daughter, parents, and several siblings.

Does anyone have information about the meeting in the 7900 block of Blue Gray Circle or about those involved that could help clarify what happened that night?
