A personal dispute at the Garrison Woods Apartments in Stafford, Virginia, turned deadly in the early morning hours of February 7, 2016. William Maurice Moe Scott, 33, was shot during an altercation and died en route to the hospital despite attempts to save him.
The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office investigated the shooting. Later that day authorities arrested 20-year-old Chancellor Tolliver of Stafford County and identified him as the primary suspect. Tolliver was charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Investigators said the confrontation arose from a personal dispute but did not release further details about its nature.
Does anyone have information about Scott’s movements that night or about the dispute that led to the shooting?
