On December 29, 2013, Sheena Green, 26, was found in a wooded area along the Richmond‑Henrico Turnpike after being shot and then run over by a vehicle. She was transported to VCU Medical Center and pronounced dead. The investigation focused on Corenzo Laroscoe Hill, the father of Green’s two children; he turned himself in later that day. Green had sought a protective order against Hill on December 23, 2013, alleging prior physical abuse and a threat to kill her, but her petition was dismissed after she did not attend the preliminary hearing.

Hill, 31 at the time, had prior convictions including grand larceny and assault. He was initially charged with abduction, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and prosecutors planned to seek a first‑degree murder indictment. Hill ultimately entered a no‑contest plea to second‑degree murder and received a 26‑year prison sentence. Green was remembered as a dedicated mother who worked at a local daycare to provide for her children.

Did anyone in the Richmond area have contact with Sheena or information about her protective order case in the days before December 29, 2013?
