Alex Tremaine Rell Perkins was found dead in Henrico, Virginia, on November 15, 2013. Officers answered a report of a firearms violation in the 7000 block of Hunt Club Lane and discovered Perkins, 25, lying beside a parked vehicle with a fatal gunshot wound.

Born July 23, 1988, Perkins graduated from Armstrong High School in 2007 and worked at Tyson’s Food Company. He is survived by his mother, father, stepfather, brother and other relatives and friends, who remembered him for leaving a strong impression on those he met.

The case remains an unsolved homicide in Henrico County; no suspects or arrests have been publicly identified and the motive and circumstances of his final moments are unresolved. If anyone has information that could help bring answers to Perkins family and investigators, please come forward.
