Tyler Spencer Lil Flocka Givens was 15 when he died from a gunshot wound at a home in the 26000 block of Jefferson Road in Jarratt, Virginia, on Sunday afternoon, September 8, 2013. He was remembered as the youngest of six siblings, a student at Sussex Central High School, and known to friends as Lil Flocka, T, and T-Dub. A handgun was recovered at the scene, but early reports did not say whether the shooting was accidental or whether Tyler had fired the weapon himself.

In the months after the death, authorities charged 24-year-old Garrick Lewis after he turned himself in on November 18. He was charged with involuntary manslaughter, discharging a firearm in an occupied building, and reckless handling of a firearm, and a Sussex County grand jury returned indictments on those counts.

If anyone knew Tyler, his routine, or saw events on Jefferson Road that afternoon, please share what might help clarify what happened.
