On the evening of July 5, 2021, a neighborhood fireworks gathering in Lafayette, Indiana, ended in a double homicide. Victoria Moore, 22, was outside her apartment with her boyfriend, 27-year-old Devonte Lashawn Roberts, and their two young children when an argument broke out. After Moore took her 3-year-old daughter, Datoria Roberts, back into the apartment, neighbors heard gunfire. A neighbor found Datoria gravely wounded outside and officers later discovered Moore shot multiple times in the kitchen.

Both were taken to hospitals; Victoria died at the local hospital and three-year-old Datoria was flown to Indianapolis, where she later died. An autopsy showed Victoria had sustained seventeen gunshot wounds. Roberts was identified as the suspect, arrested the next morning, and charged with two counts of murder.

Does anyone have information about the events that evening or knew Victoria or the family?
