Kielyn Toone, 19, was shot to death in Evansville on the evening of Saturday, April 17, 2021. The shooting began after a birthday party in the 300 block of Taylor Avenue; Toone was found inside an SUV that had crashed through a fence and struck two houses in the 1400 and 1500 blocks of Judson Street. He was taken to Deaconess Midtown Hospital and died at 5:21 p.m.

Investigators recovered more than 50 shell casings at the scene, and said at least three different firearms were fired during the incident. Toone, born March 23, 2002, had graduated from Bosse High School in 2020, worked at Dairy Queen during high school, and enjoyed football, racing dirt bikes, and music. No arrests have been publicly announced and the Evansville Police Department asked the public for information.
