A Marion, Indiana home on South Gallatin Street became the scene of a triple homicide discovered on December 30, 2018. A relative found the bodies of 12-year-old Javon Blackwell Jr., his 11-year-old brother Jayzon Blackwell, and their 42-year-old father Javon Blackwell Sr.; all three had been shot multiple times. The two boys had been visiting their father for the Christmas holiday while living with their mother in Anderson.

Neighbors said they heard or saw nothing unusual; investigators reported finding what they believed to be narcotics at the scene. The boys’ school, Anderson Preparatory Academy, expressed profound sorrow over the loss of its students. A month later a traffic stop produced information that led to arrests; charges announced included murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery, with an additional firearms charge for one defendant.

What details about that night or about the people involved might still shed light on who planned and carried out these killings?
