Andrea R. Soberalski, 32, was killed after a domestic dispute at her Avon, Indiana, home on Bluewood Way in late March 2018. According to witnesses, the argument continued as she fled across the street and sought refuge on a neighbor’s porch. William A. Schooley, 35, allegedly followed her there armed with a handgun; gunshots were heard on the porch. A woman arriving for an online purchase discovered the scene and called 911.

Police found Schooley deceased on the front lawn and Soberalski critically wounded with at least two gunshot injuries. She was taken to Eskenazi Health in critical condition and was pronounced brain dead on March 29, 2018. Authorities said the two were in a relationship and that there had been at least one prior domestic-related call to the residence; investigators believe the incident was limited to the two people involved.

Did anyone in Avon recall hearing or seeing anything suspicious that afternoon, or know more about the relationship between Soberalski and Schooley?
