Lamont Dunnom was 42 when he was fatally shot in Richmond, Indiana, on the night of December 21, 2017. The shooting happened in the Depot District, a part of the city that would normally see activity even late at night, but investigators say few witnesses came forward.

The case has been hampered by a lack of cooperative witnesses and no publicly identified suspects or arrests have been announced. Online memorials describe Dunnom as a much-loved figure whose death left family and community members searching for answers.

What can anyone who was in Richmond’s Depot District on December 21, 2017, or who knew Lamont, add to help move this investigation forward?
