Aaron Tyler Jennings was 21 when he was shot and killed outside The Pony Gentlemen’s Club in Evansville, Indiana, on April 15, 2017. A native of Sebree, Kentucky, he had recently earned mine certification and was preparing for a new career. Friends and family described him as a protector and a loving friend.
Surveillance footage showed a 35-year-old patron, identified as Clarence Miller, being ejected from the club earlier that night and remaining nearby. Video later captured Miller moving behind vehicles outside the entrance before opening fire into a crowd gathered there. Jennings was struck and fatally wounded; another man was injured and survived. Miller fled the area but was located and arrested days later.
What additional details about Jennings life or the events outside the club might help readers understand what happened that night?
