Katie Lynn Nash was 28 and a mother of two when she was fatally shot in Terre Haute, Indiana, on the evening of Friday, January 13, 2017. Remembered by family as kind, loyal, adventurous and pursuing coursework at Ivy Tech to become an Image Consultant, Katie’s death left her community grieving.

Authorities identified a suspect and Robert J. Price II was arrested in connection with the killing. In January 2018 Price pleaded guilty to murder and received a 60-year prison sentence; his later effort to withdraw the plea was denied on appeal. The sentence remains in place and family and friends said they felt justice had been served.
