Natalie Moton was 22 when she was found shot to death in her South Bend, Indiana, home at 1145 Oak Park Ct on the morning of December 14, 2001. A single mother, she was discovered downstairs after being shot multiple times. Her 2-year-old daughter was found unharmed in a crib upstairs; the child had been left alone for hours and had cried herself to sleep. Natalie's five-year-old son had spent the night with his paternal grandmother, who made the discovery the next morning when she arrived to drop him off.

Natalie reportedly kept multiple locks on both front and back doors. Investigators believe an armed individual knocked on the back door that night, and for reasons unknown she unlocked it. She ran toward the front door in an attempt to escape but was shot before she could open it. No arrests have been announced and authorities have not publicly named suspects; the case remains unsolved and cold.

Does anyone have information about Natalie, the house at 1145 Oak Park Ct, or who might have been in that neighborhood the night of December 13–14, 2001?
